Welcome to Ray's Hickory Nuts

Ray's Green Market began in 1979 after Raymond and Virgelia Pamperin retired from dairy farming and built their home on 2 acres of land outside of Juneau, Wisconsin. Over the years they sold a variety of vegetables and berries from their home, and at farmers' markets in Madison, Juneau, Horicon, West Bend and Fond du Lac. Their second move came when they sold their country home and moved into Juneau. For over ten years, Ray has harvested and sold various nuts including; Hickory Nuts and Butternuts.

Ray specializes in native Wisconsin nuts gathered in the fall and cracked throughout the year. Hickory Nuts are the best of the locally grown nuts, being delicious and readily available. At this time, only Hickory Nuts are available for purchase. Please ask about Butternuts if interested.
